Hmm, going by the logic[s] presented, Intel should be able to release a 4Ghz quad soon seeing that my average Q9650 clocks to 4Ghz stable with less than vid.; oh and this:

And a Core i7 995 3.6GHz with just 12.5% more clocks over the current 3.2GHz 965 model (3.2GHz x 1.125 = 3.6GHz).
