yeah sorry mate, I meant to say this is with 2x1GB dimms yes.
going from 2gb to 4gb will effect your wei rating in a positive manner. 4gb of memory will score higher wei rating than 2gb if timings are the same. If the 4gb (4x1gb or 2x2gb) have higher latency and/or looser timings than the 2gb then the score may reflect this.
Each time you gain in wei from aperature the gain can be reduced if timings are higher since latency is increased and operations per second goes down.
I wish I knew precisely what the formula is.

Best way to tell is to run a few dif benchmarks with each setting. Say winrar bench (open winrar and hit alt+b) for example....Everest cache and mem bench....and perhaps NUCLEARUS, aswell as any others you like. This will give you a better idea of the performance of each set of timings. So long as you don't lose too many Mhz then I'd say 1t would probably perform better.
