The best buy rocketfish weighed a lot less and proved easier to bring to LAN's. But it just didn't cool or dampen the noise like my old stacker w/ dirt bike tubes used for the suspending the drives. It also had a single exhaust and less ventilation up front. It might be old, scratched, dinged, and heavy, but I love my stacker!

It has been a while since I've been on air, so I figured I'd so off what I have currently.

Going to replace it in a week or so once I get my Killcoils from PetrasTechShop.

It's the Scythe 'KAZE MASTER' 5.25" bay fan controller.

They released a newer version as well. But I still prefer the one I have currently, little more chic.

Hey jdmR, why would you put the Ultra Kaze as the exhaust instead of on the CPU? Usually 38MM thick fans have higher static pressure, so wouldn't it be better on the CPU?

after trying different set ups for the airflow across the cpu hs, i found that theres still a good enough amount of airflow with the way it is set now: intake-ultra kaze hsfan-xigmatek exhaust-ultra kaze. keep in mind that this is a direct air flow. i was also keeping aesthetics in mind as well as performance. i'll be aiming for a moderate 4.2 ghz on a e8400 so im hoping the temps will be fine
