shouldn't the TEC be in direct contact to the ihs and then the pipes on the hot side of the tec? how is the gas inside the pipes able to work OK if you are cooling them? i know it has heat from the CPU but AFAIK pipes have its right them and that is not whem cooled by a tec

You can't usefully compare temps between two Q6600s...let alone a Kents and a York!

The reason i am showing my temperatures in real temp as well as in everest is just so i could compare both programs since neither really gave me very reliable temperatures and i could do a comparison with my old cooler. The thing is, my CPU has some stuck sensors but i know which sensors arent lying to me.

    P.S. like a real OC'er i went with Realtemp.

Without further ado, here is a beta screenshot of the V10's performance with a Q9450 at stock clock speeds as well as stock voltage 1.25

    Tjmax for Q9xxx is 100C not 95C

    here is mine Q9400 @ 3.2GHz with 1.25V under true black with scythe s-flex f @ 1200rpm

Why can't two Q6600 be compared?

    They can...

But if you get 60C loaded temps with a TRUE with one and then 63C loaded with a V8 on another....that literally means nothing. If you're going to usefully compare HSFs, you must change only the HSF variable.

At 90c its only 1-2c above my ambient temp, so 90c is not valid and will never be.

The further you are from TjMax, the less accurate the sensor becomes :-/

The 'ambient-justify' method really is not the way to do it at all. Measuring delta from TjMax is basically all that matters--forget that it even "equates" to a number in Celsius.

What meant was, that his core temps when the 90C Tj. Max were used were only a 1C to 2C above his room temp.

It keeps the temps low, and it helps keep the temperatures from slowly rising like some air coolers. I usually hit my max temp in about 15 minutes.

I think he's asking...if you turn it off, what happens to the temps?

Well if you turn it off, logically, they go up.
