Feel free to respond to any of my messages man, I appreciate your input!
Yep, I get the same thing as far as benching goes... You probably have a better chip than I do, mines not even bench stable at 3.8/1.475v. Just curious, are you on air? My chip does pretty well but it really seems to need the extra v's to get good results... I just need to find the balance between volts and temps to find my max OC.BTW my CPU is benchable @3.9GHz in most apps, except OCCTP of course
3.85GHz is stable when using 1.475V not stable when using 1.52V. I will try to do some veryfication/validation over the weekend.
I think I'll install Win7 (32bit) on a different drive this weekend just to see if I notice any difference in Max OC. I get the feeling your right though, reminds me of the B2 steppings as far as 64bit goes (not so much B3), but the 9600 clocked much better in 32bit!PS. I'm starting to see a pattern that OC scales better with volts when benching in 32bit mode. 64bit mode hits voltage scaling at lower threshold. Possibly due to more heat produced in 64 bit mode and/or hotspots in CPU.
