I know it's been said 1000 times, but it really seems like these things like staying cool. I've ran OCCT a number of times and everytime my chip gets ~55c it fails. Every run I've made stays stable until it gets around that temp...
(I'm on water BTW)
I backed it down to 1.55v on the CPU, and lowered the HTRef to 204 (3.876Ghz) and it was running fine for about 1/2 an hour, but I saw temps hit 51c and I got greedy so I lowered the voltage 1.5375 and it crashed...
I'm pretty sure it was actually good other than my impatience.
Don't know if you've had the same experiences or not, but I know we have the same stepping. It might be something you want to watch...![]()
