Didn't realise I was on that list sorry for the delay, I don't think this batch is very good, but for over 3 hrs of prime stable these are the results

3.8 HT on (181x21) 1.39v under load (temps high 80's)
4.05 HT off (193x21) 1.39v under load (temps low 70's)

I'm still deciding whether to hunt down another chip, or get better cooling ?

edit: I just added a 3837A908 to the arsenal, results later tonight

i have a crappy chip as well. its a 3837A732 and i cant seem to get 4ghz stable no matter what voltage. It might be my temps though. with 1.35 vcore with HT enabled it hits 87c with a TRUE and 2 120's push/pull.

Well it's a little better than my last chip, but for the most part nothing special. I gained approx 200 mhz in each of the above scenarios. It showed me my BCLK limitation at that point was CPU, and not mobo/mem. The vcor is getting up there , with the temps on air as well. But I'm not going to complain about 4Ghz with HT on air. So it's a good chip for me, but don't seek it out if your expectations are higher.

Well, just trying to get a stable OC @ 3.833ghz HT on batch # 3837B215 for a 24/7. I have been bumping down the vcore and am sitting at 1.258 Ran LinX 20 X for stability and is good. My temps are not ideal for my cooler so I may need a re-seat and better application for my TIM. Still not to bad and am going to try and lower my voltages to see if I can get any lower.

Also cooling is with a copper TRUE

Found a 3831A ES on ebay earlier. This must be a real early run, I wonder what the earliest week they made was.

    Hey Yahyaue,
I got the same batch exactly as Yours
Try 1.425v Vcroe for running 4.2Ghz with HT=on.
It works for me, at least for LinX.

You need to update to RealTemp 2.90. 2.70 reports incorrect temps for i7.

I can actually do 4ghz 100% stable with 1.36 vcore with HT off. I cannot get 4ghz with HT turned on stable no matter what voltage i use.
But. i have been running 4ghz(211x19) 1.36vcore with HT turned on for a week now and have not experienced a single problem. but if i run prime or linx i get a BSOD within a minute.
