I had the D70 as a hold-over until I could afford a Canon body that didn't feel uncomfortable in my hands, everything except its crappy battery life is awesome. D70's battery performance is like a freaking Energizer bunny, where charging the thing before going out to shoot was an afterthought, so it's a bit of a slap in the face to have to constantly worry about it.
