I think Chris is refering to the C2D 1M bios bug/boost: using a bios which doesn't support E0 processors will make your 1M faster.

As Hazzan's 1M is pretty slow considering the clocks and comparing to SOF's score, I guess he wonders if the C2D bios phenomenon is also present with AMD Phenom chips.

did you set SPi process affinity to run only on the fast cores when you ran at 5.7GHz? looking thru the screenshots it seems that in the 5.7G run you had core 0 and 1 set to that speed and the other two were at 5.5GHz. if process affinity was not set to core 0 and 1 only then that might explain why the score is close to your 5.5GHz run (all cores at 5.5GHz).

I'm gathering 1M information and at the moment I see no direct evidence for 1M boost biosses. However, please not that as I only have 47 results so far, the significance of this finding is not that high.
