well there are two rubber insulators included with the k350, one has a hole while the other one doesn't have it, i used the latter. hole- is for the metal plate on the motherboard. i used the latter since the rubber insulator is thicker than the metal plate at the motherboard. i'm sorry if this is abit confusing. but remember when we have the metal at the back..we compress the rubber..the rubber with the hole won't be as good as the rubber without the big hole in the middle. i sound like i'm so repetitive..hhahahah
i used the small nuts from these

i made sure the backplate won't move..when i'm remounting...this is an awesome waterblock thanks for your kind words...

<sorry for the rant>
Honda your tests are very close to mine with the KL-350 winning.
I had a 2-3C delta tho, KL-350 being lower.
Once again great test! Another thing you can try is putting the pump right b4 the block, instead of b4 ther rad. Sometimes it gives you another 1-2C lower delta overall.

i totally forgot...i just moved the pumps just ahead of the waterblock..thanks for the tip...i'll update the graphs later on...
The 350 and the D-tek will pwn all blocks on i7. I said so long ago. Yawn. If I had the time or the interest, the 350 could be uber tuned much like the Fuzion. Mid plate is not needed at all.

It seems that most people forgot or never knew that I did a lot of testing and experimenting with different water block designs. All my testing was on a dual[omgihatetextadsinmyposts]core conroe, one single slug much like i7. Blocks tend to behave differently on dual die cpu's like yorkfield. Anyway, center inlet blocks with a bow (or a step) that can be tuned with nozzles (and/or tune the bow) will rule the roost on i7, there is no doubt. I never had luck with the EK block even though in theory it should be good. a 5mm nozzle (or 4.5mm) in the 350 or the fuzion will perform like no other on the i7. I don't have a 350 to mess with but with the fuzion you can also tune the bow...

also said that you did not read up on koolance 350 block being bowed in the first place... sometimes reading up instruction manuals is good...

Center inlet. So something like the XSPC Delta V3 block?
For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.
.
.
Unfortunately its not in the manual (its something I asked to have added, and should be added soon) or noted on the website. The only place its been mentioned was in the Optimization sheet and several posts on forums. Its pretty easy to miss, its not very obvious.
I'm very happy that these tests are showing similar results though, they also match our internal tests![]()
yeah that is a doh on my part.
But XXXX(you know who im talking about) LIED about me taking 1 month.
1 MONTH? my ass my system wasnt even up for 1 month.
It was in reality 5 DAYS.
yeah i admit im human and botch up sometimes. But i got great friends to point me where im wrong.
Im a numbers person, show me numbers where im wrong and i'll go OOPS, give me my dunce hat.
But if you start pulling i(imaginary number) on me. I'll lay down a can of woopass on you very hard.

so b4 everyone starts moving there pumps b4 cpu, let me clarify.
This only works if you have an injector in the mid plate.
If your running a low restriction block, pump order has no impact.
The reason why it works well on injectors is (my theory) the pressure is hitting the mid plate more evenly. This gives you a better impact and also better performance.
Moving your pump to get 1-2C is what i think is worth it. We change blocks sometimes to get that last bit of performance.

As i said from the beginning, the KL-350 is a mean block:
