im thinking i may go with that cheap biostar board and get a better board in a month or 2 when they come out. Actually I may even wait after all and get the Q6600 for now. I was all over the phenoms when it was said u can get 4.0ghz on them with air. But now that user reviews are starting to trickle out that on air most possible stable looks like 3.7ghz. I need at least 3.9ghz for bragging rights.

I have it. I like it. good functionality.
Not for super OCing with hard 4+ hr continuous benching unless you have VRM section water cooled.

Proc is the X4 940. Im needing fast responses so I can tweak my shopping cart.

P.S. I may go with this board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130190 I would save $35 bucks. It doesnt look like a bad board but im NOT a fan of MSI after buying a couple of their boards. Also I may consider that new gigabyte board. Im a Xtreme fan of DFI and ASUS but DFI may be out of my price range this build.

Current q6600 are struggling for 3.4, might want to go q9450/9550 45nm......for reference a PH II 940 only needs 3.7 to match a q6600 @ 3.6 in most benchmarks. Its a little different with q9550 I think do to the 12mb cache and small ipc improvements. Don't have one to test but i think the gap is a little larger.
