    I am thinking with this and putting the short pci slot cover on my raid card I might be able to use the 1x slot... maaaaaaybe.. if not, it's not the end of the world, but it would be cool to be able to use that slot if possible..

    edit: the riser should be able to get the card high enough, I think, but getting the slot cover to fit right might require some monkeying around.
