my chip doesnt like more than 1.63v uncore though heh

i am shocked that you can do 5264MHz CPU test
    what temps and settings(volts etc)

can you confirm that this is the same CPU that was maxing out at 5Ghz on R2E?

this board is looking like the industry benchmark for xtreme OCers now
    others should start taking notes

    Congrats Peter
Does uncore show gains in 3D (read vantage)? I've always had uncore low (4ghz) to bench 3d for whatever added stability, but
my uncore seeems ot be really tolerable; it takes 1.85v
and i just finished a SPi32M run at 4.73ghz uncore (horrible eff. though)
so my chip is around 4.8-4.9 (=29k) vantage stable, but high uncore could give me the better cpu score (30k ish )?

why isn't your 40k score up in the "hall of fame" on ORB? You do use the WHQL drivers so wth?

Thanks Runny Best week I've had in a long while, life is just gonna feel dull after that! That CPU is such a teaser, we ran out of LN2 and just tried a CPU test for the hell of it, it passed @ 20C above cold bug temp, so theres more to squeeze. I'm trying to make a way back to Detroit to finish it up with Vince, I can't leave feeling so unfinished

Major Thanks to Vince, driving me around the whole time, totally ownage hospitality, I had such a great time I'll never forget these bench sessions!!

You guys need to get Hipro in the mix, that would complete the overclocking trinity.

Since GTX295 requires a new driver, and FM need time to approve it. They will be able to upload it as soon as FM is done validating it. It is always like this on a new graphic card release.

Love the new machine shop/sub zero OC lab Vince! Have you got all the machines and equipment you need to make pots in there? Hurry up with the new pots, I wanna order!
thanx man..new pots are coming. NVIDIA has changed this card around too much for it to work with the old slim, sorry guys I tried very hard to make it work with new bracket last month or so.
I should be spitting out and shipping new 5.0 slim units over here starting in about 1.5-2 weeks. We will have everything we need by then to make them all in the lab. It's been quite rough making the transition to this shop from my old one Marcus...almost there. No more delays in the future though and everything will be automated on a new website so you guys wont even have to wait for my PM's/emails anymore

That was the plan for me originally, but just not enough time to get it together

There is some truth to that!..

The four burners in the heater stopped firing because there was too much nitro in the air ..the big warning sign it was coming was when the torches stopped igniting. Then we had to keep the door open usually. Really need to put in a vent for that

230v triple phase bus bar + solid wiring from the start. 4 20amp drops for bench area seems alright for LN2 rig, might do one more bigger drop for cascade Dual CORSAIR HX1000's and Silverstone 1200W whole time

As sweet as the shop looks in pics, pics really can't do that place justice!

Great to see Peter and Vince again and have some fun with Nehalem and 3D06 with Gautam and 4870X2s

Too bad Peter has to go...I was hoping the snowstorm would keep him here a bit longer

at what air mix do the torches stop playing nicely? Seeing as air is ~80% nitrogen anyway, you must have been close to dangerous levels???

Bench hard, but bench so you can do it another day too!

That was one crazy benching week + party you guys had over there.

    Congrats to all of you!

Those CPU's are amazing, but modifications from Peter are the best part
You are as good as your samples are!
