Well, judging by all of the pictures of just the card - methinks he really loves the card!

I'm just so happy to finally upgrade from my 7900GS. This card runs amazing. Hot, yes, but it's still awesome for games.
I wanted a reference cooler at the time thinking it would be better for the rest of my hardware, since it exhausts it's own air out the back. I was looking at the same card from Sapphire with the Toxic cooler, but it went off sale the day I ordered the card and this one took it's place. The IceQ4+ wasn't on sale at the time. Plus, I was going to get a new VGA cooler anyway. I was curious to see how the reference cooler performed and now I know.

Well its good to get reference than get an upgrade cooler so you can use the stock mosfet/ram cooling plate.
Got a new case(Lian Li PC-7 plus II), new cpu cooler(Xigmatek S1283) and an OCZ memory cooler.

I've ordered my HDT-S1283 too. I should have it tomorrow. Everything I've read about it has been positive. It's one of the best bang for the buck coolers on the market. I was a bit torn between the Ninja 2, Thermalright HR-01, and the Xigmatek, but I'm sure I'll be glad with the Xigmatek.

My first air cooled build in quite a while:
![]()
I was under the impression that the GTX 260 was 10.5 inches and the 4870 was 9.6 inches, the same size as the ATX motherboard standard... If I am mistaken, I will have to rethink my build I am planning. Let me know if I heard wrong somewhere please!
Great builds everyone! Some are very inspiring to me!

Hey Marin, what cam, lense and settings did you use if you don't mind me asking?
Asulc, you're right. ATX spec is 12"x9.6". My bad. Fixed.

Excuse my crappy photos and there is not much bling here but it is just a air cooled machine anyways.
You are looking at a Rocketfish case i picked up really cheap (-$50.00) and made it my own by adding an Antec 900 drive assy. and drilled some extra holes in back for some extra (2-80mm) fans for cooling because the standard fan positions were poor.
As you can see i cleaned up the wires a bit but nothing too fancy.
