With all kind of things running in the background, but I don't think that matters much.

Actually, yeah it does make a difference. Shutting down unused background processes raised the bench on this Opty 185 by 50 points, and it didn't start with that many daemons running.

Same rig, same settings, Vista Business x64, switched BOINC version to 6.4.5, an behold, 60 points less int and 1000 points less float

Gotta strip my Windows to the bare minimum and check if this result is consistently repeatable.

Say does anyone have some benches for a machine with 6.4.5 with a CUDA GPU?

I tried it the other day on my X2 with a 8600GTS and it only does the CPU benchmark (6.2.19) but I can try tonight with 6.4.5 if you want?

I tried it last night and it still only benches the CPU not test on the GPU at all. So no new DB for you D_A. Sorry mate.

I had it attached to GPU-GRID only at the time so it had a client as such but still only tests the cpu

funny how x64 affects one bench more than the other..

IF that bench proves to be accurate and production stay good you're looking at an increase in returns of over 7400 WCG points (estimated)

You are probably right because scaling with oc on that setup is much more noticeable on the fpu number (approx 100 points per 90mhz oc) and negligible on the integer score.
