I think If you ordered the cpu on line you are shooting craps, the only way to get a cherry cpu is to hand pick a under 100 batch cpu and even then you could end up with a mediocre cpu based on how well the actual batch came out as a whole.
Kind of like the old saying crap is still crap even if if you put on a silver platter.
As far as the asus board m3a79-t I have yet to see one person with a 940 perform uber clocks on it yet.......or put it under cold, I thinks its the only board I have not seen 5ghz screenies with yet.
