The EK of OC-Lab2 duo, also known as Moonman & tiborrr have put an old P4 541 which tiborrr brought from a friend of his through extensive -100°C cascade overclocking action. The results are as followed - 4x new milestones in P4 541 category.

    BeQuiet 700W PSU
    CPU cooling: tiborrr's mini-cascade R-507/R-1150
NB & MEM cooling: stock /w 80mm fans

    yahhhh nice
imagine if p4 was shrunk to 45nm,
we would see 10ghz fo sure.
As Los Alamos director J. Robert Oppenheimer watched the demonstration, he later said that a line from the Hindu scripture the Bhagavad Gita came to mind:
"I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
Test director Kenneth Bainbridge in turn said to Oppenheimer, "Now we are all sons of b**ches." wiki

It's childish, but I've thought many times about 45nm-Netburst-prototypes out there...
    The Initial value finished
    ...
    PI calculation is done!

You aren't the only one. I'd love a 45nm or 32nm Netburst using all the improvements Intel has learned like Hi-K. Imagine the frequencies it could hit *drool*

Thanks guys! We still have to bench the 65nm P4 641 under LN2, it looks very promising - it did 6550MHz+ on this mini-cascade

    Best Regards,
    N.
