    A-DATA 2133X 6GB Kit Triple Channel @ DDR3 2200 CL 8-9-8-21-1T 1.67V

Much Thanks Adata Kevin sent me this nice kit for testing.

Here are some pics for sharing.

I know no one care about 2133 CL10,so I overclcok this memory to DDR3 2200 CL8 and voltage is only 1.67V.

DFI X58 is really nice mobo for memory. My cpu memory control is not so good, so I must use LN2 and make sure cpu memory control didn't effect this memory tested.

MB: DFI UT X58-T3eH8 Bios 12/30
    CPU: Retail i7 965
    Ram: Adata 6GB 2133X
    CPU cooler: F1EE LN2 -80

    133/1333 DDR3 2200 CL8-9-8-21-1T 1.67V 32M passed

    133/1600 DDR3 2200 CL8-9-8-21-1T 1.67V 32M passed

    133/1866 DDR3 2200 CL8-9-8-21-1T 1.67V 32M passed

    133/2133 DDR3 2200 CL8-9-8-21-1T 1.67V 32M passed

    How about 2133 CL7-8-7-21 32M passed?

These memory chips are NOT "Samsung" and "Micron".

    Thank you

Really impressive.. I guess that price will be as high as frequency. Nice that they can run on 1.67V..

This is just what I've been looking for. Availability Date? Price? Elpida? .2v isn't really alot to quibble about, but I wonder what these will do at 1.65v. I'd really like to keep to Intel's spec on that.

What were the QPI and Uncore multipliers? I thought Uncore had to be twice memory and memory half Uncore.

    oh...yeah

dram frequency x 2. You can see NB Frequency. It's the same as uncore.

    Insane.., thanks for share!

Impressive voltage rating from A-DATA (2,05-2,15v), I like it

    Working Voltage: 2.05V~2.15V
**** Intel specs Why don't they mention anything about VTT? Or they expect it to run 2133 with stock BCLK and stock VTT?

I don't. I'm looking for greater than 2000 speeds at 1.65v vDIMM or less. I'm not worried about BCLK or memory ratios. Just want tight timings, Intel spec vDIMM and greater than 2000 speeds. Aw, and Corsair is totally out of the question.

On most boards youll need "out of spec" vtt for them mem speeds though...

Oh yeah, thanks. I would rather not go out of spec on the vtt for right now either. I wanan wait until we see what happens to these things. High vtt is what kills them. How high is the question.

I figure if they'll run at the low vtt and vDIMM values, they can only get better higher later if we find that these systems will handle that over time.

Looks like I'll be waiting awhile still for more R&D. I really wanna get rid of this crap I'm stuck with in this system. I'm really hoping I can cut my losses and get part of my money back by selling it on Ebay. I almost hate to do that even. It will be advertised as exactly what it is, and that's gonna really cut into what I should've been able to get out of it.

Basically, these memory chips are easy on 2000 CL8 1.65V for sure. Why is this memory spec 2.05~2.15V? Because some guys use triple channel memory to X48/X38/P45 dual channel mobos. So this memory spec voltage is so higher.

Anyway, I think no one wants to follow spec 2133 CL10.

This memory IC is "Elpida", so don't ask me again. I know some memory brand companies BS their ICs.

Thanks, sounds good. I'll be looking.

I've said it before. I love that fan cooler. That is a perfect match for a Rampage II Extreme mobo.

It's not just about looks though. I am an XS'er. It's about performance first. The looks are a bonus though. Very nice in the looks department.
