I just saw the glitter glue sticks in one of your first posts and thought maybe you used them to paint your chips.
Boy that info was old. As am I. Currently my kids have taken over my desktops. They are both sporting matching GTX1080's. Last Christmas I got everyone Oculuses and thus GTX1080's. My eldest is some sort of CSGO champion gold label something or other. Me I work and shoot real guns. Build Comps as needed.

Well yea I do....I'm glad I do this isn't a cheap motherboard to replace.

It's both I wanted to do this, BUT if I had new cards and a new cpu to play with...be the last on my mind.
    I'm having fun that's what's important.

    off topic..

    Windex+LCD = FAIL & yellowish pictures.
I learned this hard way a few years ago on my iMac G5, the ammonia in windex messes up your picture over time, and makes it turn yellowish.

    get this: http://www.simplygoodstuff.com/microfiber_mitten.html
most computer stores have them these days, I got one that came with a sager notebook.. works wonders.

I find that spraying a light mist of Windex on a microfiber cloth cleans anything off, but doesn't leave behind all that streaking.

Whoa!!! You have MEGABALL$!! I personally would have got neon green or hot pink, but that's just me There are some cool spray paints out there, like crazy chrome, and those that look anodized and such. Lots could be done with this type idea me thinks

The one thing that makes me mad at it is. It does not always turn on. It gets to -35c or what ever when it turns on the PC. Instead it shuts down and I have to wait till it gets to -8c to flip it back on. It can do this over and over for an hour before it stays on....I asked fugger about how to remove that and he said remove the controller...I have no idea I opened it up and nope I could kill it too fast. I need to find some picks on what to do. I just want to flip a switch and it comes on.

At other times it starts just fine and could do so every day. Then you hit that day and you almost pass out waiting on it to just run...

When around 1.9v on a quad or even 2.0v the read out on the phase will say around -62 which is a lie but it's working very very hard I can feel the heat dump. The QX stays frozen(no temp reads coming from the chip) but I was going for 5Ghz never done that before. Then the man I asked(king)said I had my pll way over kill. I should of been doing less with it than more more and more.

So I hit 4.8Ghz with a QX9650. I can bench at 4.6 if I can remember right. But like I said about that damn pll.

If it wasn't for that I don't know what bug it is having I would love it. I almost have to leave it on if I don't want to get mad at it the following day.

Also my water setup makes more noise than it does. It's more low tone so it just really does not bug you.

do you have any idea where i could find one of these things? i cant seem to find them anywhere on the net...

    thanks btw

Find someone who has one or a store that still has one. As far as I know they only made one batch sold it out and whats out there is out there.

The end of the thread about these in the phase section of this site has a few stores listed in the end of the thread.

I don't know know about that lol

Updated first post with updates. Yea I think the case is coming along well....The board looks fantastic in it!!!!!

The other guy that painted his, is also painting his heatsinks and seeing drops in his temps. They went down instead of up!!! So maybe this could make the board last longer lol who knows but to have temp drops after painting?

I don't find it that bad at all, a nice change for sure. Simps is on his negative streak again.

Haha, nice work on this mod! Not my cup of tea, but I still admire your idea! It's certainly different! I just hope that heat can still escape well from the components (I don't really understand all the details of that temperature module that you had a picture of, but I hope the temps are ok!!).
