Where is D-Tek Fuzion Core i7 Mounting ?

What is wrong with D-tek? How long will it take for them to create a mounting kit for Core i7?

yeah they're moving slow. however, I rather they get it right the first time and not pull an EK. I'll go back to my dtek block after they finally release mounting kits for it. I got a GTZ at the moment.

Looking to pull the trigger on an i7 and I've been waiting for a solution from D-Tek. Wonder why they are so quiet as of late?

    the economy.

I'm sure there are quite a few small companies who are wondering if they should just jump ship now before they lose any more...

I figured as much, but thats why I was hanging onto this block as opposed to just buying either a GTZ or a Supreme with a 1366 mount.

    Wait...what...you're not.

Still not good to be dropping speculation, especially one that is in the ballpark as to what you hinted at.

Skinnee, it must be past my bedtime.

I'm just hopeful that D-Tek will pull through. I'm still running a v1 Fusion block and don't see a reason to change it. The 1366 adapter plate may force my hand in the near future.

From what i'm reading here they don't answer them back .

Kinda frustrating that after a few months now they still haven't pulled it off.

    What's keep them...

If I don't here from them in the next few weeks then it's a supreme for me!

It looks fine, but it appears to be missing any sort of tension springs. Plus I'd think you would want to verify it fits most (if not all) X58 boards on the market. Any idea's on what materials were used to make this bracket?

I saw another member post a copper bracket for the Fusion that looked pretty good, but no backplate. Come on D-Tek, we'd like some sort of response before more folks jump ship.

We've had about 2 or 3 of these threads that I've seen (might've been others), and all we've heard is that they were coming froma rep, but nothing since. Maybe they got caught up with other projects, but I can't think of anything more pressing than i7 mounting kits. I'm getting ready to place an order and had to go with the GTZ. I just can't keep waiting forever. My computer has been sitting benchtop style for weeks now. I gave them the benefit of the doubt becasue they said they were coming, but they never did.

    Don't know what happened.

copper is a poor choice for a bracket..

because its very maliable... Most brackets are done either in SS, or annodized ALU.

This post draw clear picture of D-tek's future, i mean c'mon if a normal guy can make bracket and ready to sell to every one in the forum, why they cannot do it.

Every one knew that Core i7 will need different mounting, and they are still sleeping.

I love my first version of D-tek block and my temperatures are excellent even with hand made bracket.

Frustration is building every day, i don;t want to switch but if thats what they want then so be it.

Can you add a poll to this thread to see how many ppl switched block as a result of not waiting to wait any longer for a d tek mount? It would be interesting to see how many more complete blocks got sold just cos there was no mount.

I swapped to a gtz from a v1 dtek so there's some extra business for swiftech.

I have not switched yet, however as soon as I find the Swiftech and the mounting bracket both in stock at one retailer I am switching. I am tired of waiting...
