Does anyone have any idea why after anywhere from 10-45 minutes I get an error saying video display driver has stopped responding? My card is completely stable and has been for over 7 months at these speeds/volts. I really can't figure out what is wrong here, is there a setting I'm not aware of that needs to be turned on/off>

Ledhead....this board is crap....that why to run something stable without maybe possibly killing my cpu or ram is amazing...I mean voltage wise ive been able to scale is right back instead of running like 1.5v into the cpu and 2.4v in the ram..

But all in all im selling this in about 2 weeks. Getting a DFI, a real board with real performance increases, with safer voltage increments

I agree, the voltage settings are absurd. Especially when you need smaller increments at higher overclocks. It kills me to have to raise the CPU and Memory voltage higher than I know it needs to be for the setting I want. I've also been looking at a DFI, the LT X48 DDR2 version.

I can't figure out why you're having so much trouble on this board. I'm thinking you must have a defective board or something (it's been know to happen, a few crap ones) because 600fsb with an e84 should be a breeze on this thing. Did you ever post your settings when trying to reach 600fsb?

I also have the DFI LP UT P35, and the thing is absolutely incredible efficiency wise, not even my RE can touch it in 1m efficiency. On the other hand it's like torture getting it over 600fsb to run benches. The DFI P45 Dark performs very similar to the I45, just a hair better efficiency. I don't think it's quite as special as the LP UT P35 though. It's very hard to be impressed after that board.

Are you setting TRD to 10 manually before booting at high FSB? If not, that's something you should try. Other things cpu clock skew 200, 1.6nb.

Mrcape, ive done those, i can get into windows at 590fsb...i did exactly what everyone said...i actually maxed out the NB volts and VTT and CPu was at 1.7v on ICE WATER...and yes TRD to 10.

If you go back a page...you see my phone camera shot at 595..

Seriously...i think ppl cheat when they say they can do 600FSB 32MB PI stable...on Air...or they just ing good. and know what each setting does down to the T.

I would rather just have my DFI P35 back...best board ever made

haha it's not cheat, it's doable.

I still use the DFI as my main machine, why did you get rid of it? I45 is in a stack near the closet, but it will bench again! You can see a bunch of 6gb+ runs with it in my hwbot profile. I have to set up again to do 32m though, now you got me curious.

I'm trying not to laugh over here, but we just don't get that kind of lightning where I'm from. I thought that was a joke in your sig. That sucks!

when I sent my board in for RMA (the NB mosfets exploded at 5.2GHZ E7300) they sent me one back and it was missing a few CAPS, I added some really high capacity caps and WHAM! it works just fine in fact I have been able to give the NB higher volts this time mainly I think from the better caps.

Thanks guys...Dro. Um yea i thought it was really hard until you basically put your camera on a tripod and shot a a 30second Shutterspeed. Thats why I was able to get not one strike but multi strikes within that 30sec shutter release...Shutter opens for 30's and then closes after 30 secs. Then takes about 30 seconds to process the image on the camera.

Much appreciated guys...can say that those photo's are Xtreme right :P...

I have a problem that has existed since I bought this motherboard. Whenever I boot this comes up:
Marvell 88SE61xx RAID Adapter - Bios Version 1.1something

    Adapter 1
    Disk Information:
    no hard disk detected
    My bios settings are:

    http://i39.tinypic.com/2rq0fmo.jpg
    http://i43.tinypic.com/207orpu.jpg

I haven't tried changing them because I don't know what the different settings will do.

I am in Minnesota, USA. We also have lightning like that in the summer. Everything I have that can be damaged by a surge is protected, including the phone system and even my wifes sewing machine. I have a friend who also has been hit, lost his house due to fire, caused by the lightning. It is nothing to take lightly.
