I run 2 disks. The OS disk gets reformatted maybe every 3-6 months when I do a fresh install, the data disk almost never.

Why do I always seem to be unlucky with hardware when I tinker with it?

I run mine almost the same way.
As for tinkering with the hardware I have the same problem, so when you figure it out let me know maybe I will learn something LOL
