Which ever one costs you less and can be done the soonest.

What's a cheap, efficient way to cool multiple computers which will hopefully remove as much hot air from the room as possible?

Do you think I can manage to keep the $250 I have in Paypal right now until the end of the first week in January? There is a 280GTX SC FS for $280 that's calling my name even tho I don't game.. should I do it?

A pair of HD4830s for roughly $200 will wipe the floor with a GTX280. Even if you don't like AMD, they're great for synthetics.

    Should I get a HD4830 and 2GB more DDR2 800 no-name RAM or a HD4670 and a new 2x2GB kit of G.Skill DDR2 1000 CL5?

DDR2 is like so 20th century. Cheap mammaries and good video - which for some of us are the same thing.

If I wait to get a 2P board for i7 will I end up looking like Dave? It's ok for him because he's all the way up in NH where nobody can see him but I've got neighbors with small children to think about.

Nah, you won't look like Dave! You'll look worse!

    HD4850X2 or Larrabee?

Need something more solid than random rumours and smack-talk about Larrabee before you can ask that.

Wanna donate me a good pump and a couple of cheap CPU waterblocks so I can get my mass WC setup working?

    A: Nope.

Q: How often do you reformat your main computer's hard disk?

I run 2 disks. The OS disk gets reformatted maybe every 3-6 months when I do a fresh install, the data disk almost never.

Why do I always seem to be unlucky with hardware when I tinker with it?

If you mean highest clock speed, E7200. Tops out at around 4.0-4.5 GHz. If you mean most processor power, Q6600 at 3.6 GHz.

Do you think we'll ever see mATX X58 boards so I can make my dream build?
