Well done, mate! But something strange because of I have the same Read and Write speeds but Copy is 10500.
It is so because of Intel need more Mhz and tight timings don`t affect. Nvidia chipset would have done a great job with 600mhz cl4.

Just checking, its the 3:5 diver that is bugged on P45 mobo's?
fatguy1992,you are correct 3:5 is the bugged divider on the p45 chipset..

Just wondering, how can it be bugged? Like WTF did Intel do/not do?

fatguy1992,thats a good question. I really dont know why its bugged, but i think i know someone who might just know(cryptik).maybe he has some insight into this issue.

True, lets hope Cryptik can answer our question![]()
too bad that one is not actual ddr2 speed, actual speed is 411x3 = 1233MHz (instead of 411x3.33 1368MHz), just try it since the memory multi 3.33x still exists in this board's bios.
it's sure like a chipset bug, but i don’t know the technical detail behind this either.
but i think everyone agree, i also think motherboard makers also knows pretty well about this chipset bug.
WaterFlex, what about the latency results (with default tREF) in your P45 board?

Could someone have a look at my 24/7 RAM settings and tell me what u think? Also what sub-timings should I change?
I'm wanting 2 keep my vdimm at 2.0v, but I could use 2.1v if I want, cause i have a 133CFM fan blowing on them.
BTW this is 4GB (4x1GB) of my CellShock PC2-8500 RAM.
I hope u can read the pic, I wish photobuckect would stop making them bad quality.

I would say your timings are fine, you can pass memtest fine ? you might be able to drop you TRFC a tad bit.
Last edited by neo mike; 12-27-2008 at 11:37 PM.
I haven't tried memtest yet. I'll run some stability tests later. Also I got TRFC at 40.
I'v changed over 2 only 2 stick now 2 see what they can do. Atm i'm at 1200MHz 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1v, i'm hoping for 1250MHz, but i'll have 2 change my FSB.
You should be able to run all 4 sticks at 1200, maybe higher, i was able to run 4x1 at 1300.
well im using the ep45t-ud3p, the ddr3 version, i left everthing on auto except mch voltage, cpu voltage, and memory divider and timings, i never even changed mch ref and all that stuff, and i hit 590fsb pretty easy. Sure if i played with the other voltages i could get more, but im just looking for 24/7 stable now. That board you have is a monster overclocker, but that quad will limit you, i would try to get 1200 4x1 stable, to me 2gigs aint enough, at least not in vista thats for sure.

crucial,cellshock have changed their chips
what else stays ?
i think only Teamgroup

I only have XP 32-bit
I'll get it stable tomorrow, to tired atm.
Can someone tell me why I can't even boot with my Cellshock Pc8000 5-5-5 with divider 3:8 and stock settings? It should get me an 533 DRAM Frequency.
And to start my machine, I need to clear cmos and select another divider..

i just got 4x 1GB Tracers, D9 BL12864AL1065.16FD3
however, i didn't know that the X38 (gigabyte) boards were crap when it come to installing 4x1GB 1066 memory. It won't post at all with all four in, does anyone know a way around this?
All the sticks are good, memtested.

You should be able to run all 4 sticks, i was able to run 4 sticks in my p45 gigabyte, did you loosen up the timings alot and try ?
Well, its taken me some time (too long really) but I'm finally getting a Wolfie. Tomorrow is when I will order one, likely on next day shipping![]()

yeah, i tried. All four sticks are good, the person i bought them from had a EX38-DS4 and had the same problem, but they worked like champs on his X48 rampage.
I'll probably sell them, double sided tracers should be easy to get rid of
I haven't done it, but they all work and the guy said he ran a full pass of memtest..
