    => msgclb & ol'norton: could you check memory frequency with this version: memset40beta4

    => mikeyakame: probably it's the same method ("Note both IOh and non-core have this now" in the doc)
    but at what address? I think elsewhere that Dev:0 Fct:1 OffSet:4C...

    I still have the same problem although CPU-Tweaker 1.0 beta4 is correct.

    felix,

    seems like, bus:0?, device:0, function:1, dId:2C01h, os: 4Ch

    Table 17-1. Functions Specially Handled by the IOH
    Register Group: DMI (Device 0 in DMI mode)
    DID: 0011_0100_00 00_0xxxb
    Device:0 Function:0
    Comment: The DMI port will have the last 3 bits of the DID (xxx) IOH = 000
    Excerpt from X58 express chipset datasheet.

    My understanding is from this that unless you explicitly address a DMI DID for Dev0Fn0 you will be address the NonCore DID Dev0Fnx.

    The information seems to suggest this anyhow. Intel Datasheet's are like cryptic puzzles!
    The address decoding/encoding seems very complex on the m-arch, and will probably take some time to fully understand.

    Frequency reading(578.7-CPU-Z):
    beta1= 0
    beta2= 577-580.6 ,every 2 seconds
    MemSet 3.6= 578.7

    Memset 4.0 Beta 2 now reads frequency & timings as set in bios.
    CPU Tweaker 1.0 Beta 2 is out on tRFC , tRRD , & Round Trip latency.

    Seems 16x mem multi on DFI UT X58-T3EH8 not reporting right frequency - 14x mem has no probs

    Seems with 16x memory multiplier, both Memset 4.0 Beta2 and CPU Tweaker tool can't report the right memory clock frequency. Had no problems with 14x memory multiplier.

    Vcore = 1.05v
    DRAM Voltage = 1.965v
    CPU VTT = 1.48v + 0.075v

    Hi Felix, any chance of adding a motherboard brand/model to cpu tweaker app ? would be one less cpuz instance I'd need to load for screenshot capturing

    weird one i put in 3x1GB Gskill PC3-12800HZ Micron D9JNM on DFI UT X58-T3EH8 and with CPU tweaker 1.0 beta 6 when loading it says you must have a module installed in channel A and then closes itself. But load Memset 4.0 beta 4 and it's fine ???

    Any BIOS version starting from v12 & up locks the MCHBar and you cannot use MemSet.
    Don't know if they fixed it in a newer release, I've tested various BIOSes up to v16 before I sold the board and the lock was still there.
