It's not the money, it's the time off I can't take. Started a new job in November. Not too mention I hadn't booked anything ahead of time anyway.

I need to see about standby tickets...I can fly if it's affordable. I see it goes Thursday-->Sunday, which means I may miss the opening and closing, but it's still plenty of time. Where can I go for a CES pass?

I don't think a CES pass is free anymore after November.

So if you'll have both AMD and Intel at the event would it be possible to have a side by side overclocking competition with Fugger OC'ing an i7 and Macci/Sampsa doing a Deneb?.. And after that the good doctor "?" might explain which parts of the Deneb were disabled?

I don't know. I don't mind passing it to someone who wants to go, but the CES ExpoCard and badge have my name on it.

I'm trying to figure out how to bring my i7-965 rig JUST to see what you guys can get out of it vs what I did.
I'm a plodder and I admit it. I'd love to see what people with skills can get out of the same machine I worked on.
I wonder if the airlines would give me grief bring the MB,chip and memory.
I assume someone out there has a TRUE so I don't have to lug that also.
