Undersea Cables Cut; 14 Countries Lose Web

Reports from the Mediterranean indicate that two of the undersea cables severed and repaired earlier this year have been cut again, disrupting internet access and phone service between the Middle East, Europe, and parts of Asia. An additional third cable is down in the same region.

As i'm currently in Qatar im definately feeling the effect of this.
Seems to me more than a coincidence that 3 major cables can be cut, but i dont know much about this stuff.
Anyway, im staying tuned to find out the details of the cause

The effect for me is that most websites take fricken ages to load (if at all), email is rwally slow, but bittorent seems ok. Trying to stream video is pointless as takes about 1hr to get 5 secs worth.

I think it was Navy Seal mission approved by Bush and his cronies only and it was a secondary side effect of something else being targeted.

Was it a Middle Eastern countries sub playing cat and mouse with a U.S. attach boat and someone got to close to the bottom or the other boat?

Was it a ship sunk by pirates/terrorists?

I could see a 5 ton anchor slicing through a cable a few miles off shore if its a super tanker shoring up to transfer oil/wait for docking orders?
fermiNow Dave will see FERMI where ever I go

    Why not have wireless

Like some big sensors spreading out wireless internet trough the sea. Then the crabs dont have to cut wires again to get internet
