12 GB at CAS8 and 1n (aka 1T) Command Rate

I just started some 12GB testing and got a couple of pleasant surprises on the ASUS P6T Deluxe. I have not yet tested this on other MOBOs but I expect the same result as this relies on the CPU + IMC. This is with an EX 965 Extreme.

1: No extra QPI voltage is required to be stable at 1600 8-8-8-24 with 6 up / 12GB.

    2. The system does not revert to a slower command or data rate running 6 up.

More testing to follow including some OCing to see how far I can go at 1N.

    Hey YB,

I coulda told you that, actually :p

I was quite impressed when my Gigabyte EX58-EXTREME operated perfectly right off the bat at 8-8-8-20 PC3-1600.

Can you show the same test at 2n? I'm interested in the actual difference

@ Odd thread: What does "official" info mean anyway? When you contact pretty much any tech company you get BS info. If you really want to know something it's often best to look at the technical documentation yourself or just Google for a minute.

I'll try to remember to load up 12GB again soon and take a look at the 1N vs 2N. If I don't post in a couple of days, remind me again please. I'm crazy busy....or maybe just crazy.
