Can anyone else confirm that 36x QPI multi actually = 18x? Other boards apparently have x18 multi, my GB extreme with F4j bios has lowest 36x(apart from slow mode), but that puts me on 18x.

yeah x36=x18 x44=x22 x48=x24

For the bios update, throw the file on a flash drive (size should be 1mb) press f8 while in the bios and update the somb1tch

yes its the same GB uses MT/s all others use the real frequency.
