As mentioned above "EPIC" first post with simple overclocking test
Welcome to XS!!
Sexy looking board.
@ Tim, Not sure if its Peter Wei but if its him then... I think he is working in BIOS Team or similar.

Wow! That's simple for sure. :P
No, that's amazing keeping it simple.
Mobo: Foxconn MARS
Cpu: Wolfdale E8200 C0 @ 4ghz @1.38v w/ TRUE-120 Black
GFX: 8800GT G92 @stock
Memory: Team Extreem 2x1 5-5-5-15 1100ghz @2.11v
Hard Drive: SB 500GB
Optical Drive: LG 22x DVD/RW LS
Case: Lian-Li PC-G7B
Foxconn ROCKS!
The VDIMM, I used 2.05 Volt while running DDR3-2500. The memory is Adata Vitesta 1600, Samsung chip.
I selected 3 Dimm, one dimm is able to run over 2500mhz, anyway, it is not a sorting part I got from Adata.
The retail version of Core i7 920 doesn't lock the Uncore Ratio and Memory Ratio, it's not a bug.
I forget to increase CPU multiplier...
Welder a.k.a. Peter Wei![]()
Heh bro.. now thats really nice clocking
Thats when we say, Keep pushing!!I forget to increase CPU multiplier...![]()
xtreme nice board
wondering if its gonna beat the R2E in price and overclockability

Looks like a sick board for RAM overclocking. Loved the result at 1.7v and of course 2500 at only 2.05v is very very nice too.
And indeed this is the most sexy looking mobo ever, Gigabyte should take example of this.![]()

Well, if you can't wait, you should go out right now and pick another board.
Most of the "impatient" people, after successfully acquiring their so long-awaited product come back and b*tch at people here just because it didn't do what they wanted it to do or because they can't get it to overclock like they wanted, etc.
That's part of what happened with the BlackOps.
Surely the board was overhyped, but in the end it was good for what it was supposed to do... extreme overclocking, especially with the QX9650/9770s.
Are you sure that this board is your best option, suits your needs, and you can successfully configure it to work overclocked ?
If you're unsure, you're better off waiting for some input from the owners or some reviews sites, than hitting it asap.

Great results - love the memory clocks! Congrats to a sweet looking board in all respects!
Will this board also feature an "external" overclocking tool for direct bios access?
