Sent you a PM. Interested in one with back plate for a D-Tek Fusion v2.
wouldn't those mounting adapters be also be good backplates if you didn't do the cutout for the waterblock? More money income for less work =)
first post updated
for backplate pics and screws (on pic m3 screws but can be 4mm)
duniek fail on the backplate :X
that rectangle thing is the stock retension clamp holder:
See where the 4 bolts in the corner go?
But your mounts look great!![]()

ah now I undertsand what you mean but I think its good, 1,5mm stainless is very rigid and mobo will be not flex for even 1mm. LGA775 work with one backplate good, or even without it, LGA1366 will be works good with one or two without problems)
also strenghtes is not very hard in mountings
so backplate without square center hole will be better?

The back plate needs to be the most rigid part imo. It has to stop the board from flexing with the force of the block being screwed down on it so a solid thicker backplate is best.
Also not sure how 3mm plexi mounts would hold up to the pressure. I think they'd be pretty weak & snap quite easily. 5mm would be better for that I think at least? Anyone else think that?
Looks very neat!!!! Keep up the good work, I would suggest.
Maybe I'm interested as well if I switch to i7.
