Do u overclock?
i have a q9450 and at the time i had it overclocked to 3.8ghz. i bumped it to around 1.36-1.4v to fix the problem. when i run it stock i keep it at 1.22v, because of this chart. i'm not sure what's correct for your cpu though, just try bumping it once or twice that should do it. if not then read up or experiment further.
Thanks.I will give it a a try
i know when i need to change biosyes my system is unstable on 1406 because i have 1200mhz transcend axeram so bioses before is not have good support of 1200 iani AXERAM-s
i just need bios whith full suport of 1200mhz RAM s now im using my 1200MHZ rams on 1066 because 1200 is not stable especially when overclocking
i have tested with all programs my rams 9memtest, everest stress, OCCT) RAMs dont have any problems together and not together i have tested it all day long no erorrs

Hey guys, P5Q-E board here with a Q6600. Currently running m1402 bios, just wondering if other P5Q-E owners out there are on m1406, I've also read some people on here seem to be running an early mbios version but wasn't too sure why. Thanks!
Anyone tried the 1501m BIOS for the P5Q Pro yet ?
A bit sceptical until i hear some feedback
there is anew beta bios version 1611
wait for ket mood

oh maaan only p5q-e bios is not updatet![]()
New mBIOSes will be up later. I'll also see if some basic hacking will let -E users use a Deluxe BIOS on their boards, AFAIK there is no hardware differences between a -E and Dlx.
ED - Things are a little confusing with these new betas, the Premium has a smaller memory table vs. the other BIOSes. I'm not sure if asus have removed "junk" code or what, so I will probably do 2 types and people can report which version works best.

Ahead of time so I don't have to do it later, heres what the 1611 mBIOSes have changed.
- Added Premium memory table (v1) \ Added Pro memory table (v2)
- P6 microcode update, total number of supported CPUs up to 41. (39 in previous mBIOSes)
- Boot logo changed to the ever-popular dragon
The usual "wasn't intending but seemingly got fixed" things
- Pull-ins
- Couple other things I can't remember off the top of my head
Before anyone asks, heres the deal with v1 and v2 BIOSes, NOTHING apart from the memory table is different. V1 uses the Premium memory table (54100) whereas V2 uses the Pro memory table (58420). I have no idea why the memory table is larger in the P5Q\Pro\Deluxe BIOS code, I would guess at A: Asus have not yet updated the code for the Premium in the beta BIOS, or B: Asus have removed "junk" code from the Premium memory table, which one would think would lead to better OCs.

thx Ket
i have question
I falshed mBIOS to my P5Q-DLX i haven't bootlogo (dragon)
- Boot logo changed to the ever-popular dragon
Thats a persistent anomaly, some users have it, others don't. I'm probably just going to attach the various logos for the BIOSes here so in the event someone isn't getting the logo, they can change it with the asus mylogo utility.

hey ket, i know you did a modified bios for the maximus II,which we all appreciate. but do you have the abilities and or tools to fix some of the major problems that the max II suffers from (make the pull in's work, clocking memory above +1333,voltage between vtt and vnb more than 0.011-0.015,memory drive strengths)or is this something we have to rely on asus for?

I can try mixing and matching some things, but to go into more detail than that would take a lot of time - something I simply don't have. Theres also the possibility I may not have all the tools I need to attempt some in-depth fixes on top of that.
I'll upload the images in a bit.Originally Posted by flywin

Can't boot 471x8.5 with m1611With normal 1611 i can, but i do not pass ram tests, that's why it is not stable.

Here are the boot logos for anyone having problems getting it to display. Try using the Asus mylogo utility to re-insert it. V2 1611 mBIOSes using the larger memory table will be up in a few mins.
