thank you very much for your help Dave, so it took long to reply. i did as you indicated with the bios in the root of a usb drive. use the tool in the bios ez flash util. it only recognize the A: drive which i assume is floppy. hrmm, i read the other posts that there's an 0603 bios. i wonder where i can grab this 0603 bios. i just wish i didn't flash this 0602 bios. with the original bios, the board was stable and now with this 0602 bios, the board is not stable at all. i'll search for the 0603 bios.

. i'm almost just about to go back to my old dfi 790fx board, but i'm going to keep on trying. my stability problem is that i'm losing overclocking ability, my crossfire setup is flaky or acts weird with this bios, random blue screen, and one little change in the bios and the system is completely unstable. this is getting frustrating. i guess asus board's never good for me. i wonder if i can sell it for cheap.
