not really, all he did after his polite exchange with Gabe (end of their argument) was explain his own opinion because he works with consumer trends and stats for a living and it bug him to see #s pulled out of a hat. to which Gabe did point out it was merely a part of the ongoing conversation.Your point was written a few times, one not enough?

it is really part of Gabe's job when joining these kinds of forums to take some constructive criticism (positive and even negative ones) for him to be able to make a better product in the future. and he'll call it market research... he could have easily handed this kinds of things to any of his assistants but being Personally involve in research and feeling the market is also a good experience...
then you have post#40 which started another argument between 2 opposing oppinions... to which MM donned his hat and stepped in clearing the air...
agreed on this, too fast reading and not enough comprehending sometimes leads to arguments... one needs to step back a little and take a breather and reread a few times to comprehend some statements...Retorical, adding numbers or similiar "facts" to an argument are really common since it builds on and supports the original statement which can be missleading for about 84% of the members of this forum.
