What are you talking about? This is not even a resistor. It's condensator...
And you don't remove it, you just make a few passes with a graphite pen/pencil...

No problem.
Just one thing to mention: if you pencil it hard you can get opposite of droop, for instance I have under load rise of voltage for about .012 when in bios set higher than 1.55V

I performanced the CPU Vdroop reducing pencil mod and now I've got my Q6600 @3.8Ghz!
God it needs a lot of voltage to get there... Going to try for 4.0Ghz next![]()
