Thanks - I used a can of matt black spray paint that I found that came fairly close to matching in colour to the powdercoated internals.

If I may ask, what heatsinks are you using to cool the mosfets on your formula?

Thanks and Its comments like these that really make it all worth while

The heatsinks are Thermalright HR-09 Type 2 coolers - one is the slanted version and one is the standard version. Really good coolers

You are 100% correct emoners - As shown in emoners post above there is one HDD used in this build and it is mounted just below the DVD drive using ine of these

    http://www.nexustek.nl/images/disktwin1_large.gif

Works really well - cannot hear the drive at all and it also came in black which meant that there was no modding required

Yeah I bought the converter from pccasegear in melbourne but it would appear as if they don't sell this particular one anymore. They have something similar though. Hope that helps

    Hi,

I want to make my own mod, like a murderMod, but a little bit different, and.. personnal.
Dangal, can you say me what is the exactly dimensions of the faceplate, please ?

I will probably post my workblog on this forum, and you will see my ideas !

Sweet rig Dangals You beat us all to the punch LOL

I ordered some shwag from Charles and I hope to keep the ball rolling too

I have to do a complete teardown and rebuild and then get some proper pictures for you guys. I already inverted my CPU res and routed like Skinnee suggested and made a huge difference, but I have further ideas to keep the clutter down.

Well, I just wanted to say hope much I like the build

    Laters.

You'd probably be best to PM Charles_H or dualbrain for that info.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't know if it would be okay to share that information publicly for "copyright" purposes. But if anyone can give you exact specifics for what you're looking for, talk to Charles, he's the original creator of all things Murderbox.

And good luck with your build!

Hey dangals, is that R3400 really shiney like that when you get it, or did you have to make it that way? The Primochill I got was like really dull and nasty compared.

Tygon R3400 is nice and shiny when one gets it.

The R3400 stuff is shiny - dust tends to show up really easily so I gave them a quick wipe down before fitting and then took the photos pretty much straight away....But even now after a few weeks running they still look nice and shiny

Thanks inCore - I would love to do one soon but with the current exchange rates for those of us in the good old land of Aus parts have become so much more expensive I will have to hold off for a little while.

But don't worry as soon as I do I will definately do another log

    Awesome Ideas

Fantastic Ideas and beautiful lines with the Murdermod. Quite Simply a work of art, but I must confess I will be stealing some ideas for my TJ07 Build due to begin next year.

Awesome looking computer there man. My next full rig is going to be a TJ07, not for a bit tho, saving money for i7 and other crazy stuff . My question is, what did you use for clamps on your fittings... I don't see anything there.

Thank you very much - I am honored to hear that you like it that much that you would not only make this your first post but that you are going to be using some of my ideas in your own build!!! Just remember to post some pics

I am not using any clamps - I have 3/8" tubing on 1/2" barbs which I must say is a very tight fit However I may look at getting some of Evil's clamps when the right size / colour is available.
