i posted a heatsink cooling upgrade back a while ago...the pink stuff is not designed to give you a good cooling solution!

check this link and the link in my signature for the parts needed...obviously to late for you but others are forewarned again!

we had problems with Abit's IP35 Pro cooling solution; obvoulsy not quite what happened to you!...i came up with a heatpipe mod for that to improve cooling.

The temp of those four mosfets had to be 100c +, because soldering stuff has boiled out.
