I just ordered the EP45-UD3P and read on a few forums that my reapers might only run in single channel mode. Can anyone debunk this notion?

I had 2x2 pc 8000 ReaperX and they would not play nice at all.

I don't know just yet about the rumor, but I can tell you that I tried my two sticks and I couldn't get both to post. I tried one and it posted, but the other was a no go ... I am about to RMA the Reapers, but may give it a second try ... just to be sure.

Just tried F6d BIOS and use strap 400 1:1 and it work fine like always. Not sure about strap 333.
The S3 mode still doesnt work at high frequency BUT it did wake up at 4.1Ghz with Q9650 compare to 4Ghz with F5 BIOS. After 4.1Ghz with Q9650 it just fail to wake up no matter what setting I put in.

You might want to try it in single channel mode. Supposedly they work fine if you do so. Im hoping that one of the new BIOS updates will fix it...

I bought mine from Newegg, and I dont think they let you return them unless you pay the 15% restocking fee.

I think that I might try the Corsair Dominators next if these dont end up working...Newegg reviewers seem to not have a problem w the doms.

Those look pretty nice. I was gonna go with 1066 since the price dropped recently.

this is my first ever gigabyte board, quite amazing i might say
but ineed some info regarding easytune6, say if i click "save" on those voltages and core settings will it be saved directly in bios? or i have to set it manualy after i found my sweet spot?

i think gigabyte is just renaming the same bios,s or just putting in new mem codes for the ram that wont work for the boards did any one notice a real difference with any of the new bios,s

I been checking the forums for popular 1066 kits and it seems there are many problems getting 2 2GB sticks to work in dual channel mode.

Sucks cause this board seems to be real nice otherwise.

My Corsair ddr1066 2x2gb work fine here with ud3p and every bios....Try check both stick with memtest or try different slot....if no go probably the motherboard itself.

Probably you have sort it out by now...manually in BIOS after find the good spot in ET6.

I noticed a HUGE difference with the F5 official from the stock F4 on my E8400.

At first the board was sketchy doing 4.2ghz on MCH 1.38 and VTT around 1.40.

With the F5 it's stable @ 4.3ghz MCH 1.24 and VTT on 1.300 with 1.37 vcore.

I literally just got my EP45-UD3R a few hours ago, but I must say I'm quite impressed with it so far. Just looking at it you feel you really got something for your money. Once I had it running and ran a quick OC, I knew I got more than I paid for.
