I can recommend the 500 and 650W TT Toughpower Qfans by the way, those are CW PSUs, modular cabling, perfect voltage stability and rather affordable.
I got a lesson on Corsair's offerings by Yellowbeard. Anyways, I am very partial to Seasonic-built units. CWT is good too, of course.

Anyways, I'd have to say go for "older" units--newer models typically are marked up by a good percent. And typically, there's several others already on market that are 99% the same and cost a good bit less. Just as an example the new CX400 series is basically the same thing as the Seasonic SS-400ET but with more SATA connectors. The 400ET has 4 on two cords--which is plenty for most computers. Both the CX400 and 400ET are Seasonic-built (iirc initial reviews) and they're priced $65 and $53, respectively.
