Well over 1300 should have been easily achievable with those sticks and voltages.

These are my Team 8500's at 2.29v (real - DMM measured)

    It's a well known cpu-z bug.

In that SS everest says DDR2 - 1333, and also shows I have a P5Q-Deluxe, a DDR2 board, plus I wrote I used Team 8500's above the SS. Also check my sig, both my boards and all my ram kits are DDR2.

Have you tried cpu-z v1.48 ? Maybe there is no bug now ...

No not yet, it currently reads the speeds and timings correctly so it does everything I need it to.

Gat them for 10 days ! So impatiant to put them on the ri(n)g vs my Tracers (pushed @650 for 2,3v on 680i)

What could I expect from this kit on the Max2 F ? No more than 640 for 2,2v ? (don't frighten me dudes, please...)

You should be able to boot and run everest & SPI1M at 650 MHz @ 2.2v, I have found 660 MHz is where the voltage starts to scale up fast. 32M stability is something else entirely but just have a go it depends on your ram/board.

@ 533 FSB / 640 MHz on the M2F you should be over 11K across the board. Check out the M2F thread for some board specific tweaks/settings.

Well I have to correct myself, almost 11k read, but 11k for write & copy

    Here:

    533 FSB / 639 MHz on my M2F & Team 8500's

So have these been confirmed d9's ? I have never seen any 6-6-6- timings on d9s though I have seen ProMos that scale really crazy with volts ( upto 2.5) with cooling . my dhx 800 with promos does crazy speeds in the 5-5-5-18 timing range.
    1066 @ 2.1
    1100 @ 2.2
    1200 @ 2.3
I never went any higher since I have no active cooling on my ram.
Though all the really great ddr2 I have used has that sick 6 layer pcb (black )
and they can take volts hardcore.

Team Xtreem DDR2 (not the Dark stuff) has always been D9GMH or D9GKX. MemoryC has a few kits of the 1200 C5 and 1300 C6 back in stock.

    Straps

Can somebody exsplain to me what the different straps do, or dont do, and what one is the best to use. Im using 266 frequency latch and a 2.00 divider, ??? i dont understand this, some guy told me i should be using the 400mgz or the 333mgz ?

Straps set the basic timings of the chipset, and also define what ram speed choices you have. Generally the lower the strap the tighter the timings and the higher the ram speeds you have to choose from. However there is no "should be on a certain strap" rule, just use whatever one gives you the best efficiency and puts your ram at the speed to want it to be at. Lower straps can sometimes prevent you from running other chipset timing optimizations like Ai Clock Twister = Strong on Asus boards, and I have found on mine I can achieve better efficiency on the 333 strap with all the extra optimizations on the highest settings rather than on the 266 strap without the optimizations. I can also now run my ram at a lower speed at ~1.94v for 24/7 use, extending its lifespan. Just experiment with yours and use everest/SPI32M to test any bandwidth/efficiency alterations.

    great

Ok now i understand, well im using the 200mgz strap, i can really run all the straps, but im running a 475 fsb, putting my memory at 1270, the 400mgz strap will do the samething, they both run fine, but i am able to get a better static tread setting with the 200 strap. Im using the xtreem team 10400, so been playing with it.

Now here is another question if you dont mind im still kind of learning about overclocking i have a pretty good understanding of it. With my current settings i can run super pi 1m and 32m and pass no problem, i cant pass prime 95, and in memtest86 i have tried to change my timinings i still get errors in test 5 everytime. I have used memset to tweak the timings in windows and play with them, they work fine in windows, but when i set them in the bios, i cannot pass test 5 on memtest86.

You may need more vdimm, or you may need to increase vNB (vMCH) as the 200 strap as I said is pretty tight and makes the MCH work harder, or perhaps both need to be increased. DDR-1270 is hard to stabilize so depends what your board/ram can manage. Your ram should do 1300 on 2.3v, so set in bios whatever gives you 2.3v (real) and then increase vNB a couple of notches from what it is currently set to. Perhaps also use a different (looser) strap and see if that helps. I use a loose strap and plenty of vNB while I'm stabilizing ram, then when you knows the ram is stable, start tightening the chipset.

    ok

Ok well my cpu is e8500 running at 3.80 i have vdimm set to 1.3125 in bios but in real is only 1.264. So im running the tightest strap then, maybe will try the 266 strap, yeah i had my ram up to 1487 of course not stable. Ok i will try that and see what happens, by the way i have the gigabyte ep45-ds3r board. Its not bad for mid priced board, i have reached 590 fsb, but dont seem to go anymore, thanks for the tips

You must mean vcore set to 1.3125v, vdimm should be no lower than 1.80v. What board are you using? Most boards overvolt ram so measuring it with a DMM is the best way to find out if it over or under volts from what is set in bios.

    ahh

Yes i meant vcore, im using a gigabyte ep45-ds3r. Im running 2.40 v on my ram, not sure what it really is, i have no way to really meausure it. I tried the 333mgz strap, had a hard time, the 266,200,400 are much easier, i just cant get rid of those memtest errors. On those everest scores of yours, what pl you using ?.

I was on PL8 for those. I run PL8 24/7 too. Just keep tweaking it, you'll figure it out. It takes awhile to become familiar with the behaviour of your gear.

    oh yeah

Had to go with the 400mgz strap, was hard to get stable on the 333.
