Glad to see this thread still going. I just put together a new rig with the Q6600. My cpu isn't a golden chip that can 3.6-3.8 on very low volts, but it does seem to scale with voltage. Here's my highest FSB so far on voltage that can be run 24/7:
Got it stable with 1.4875 Vcore BIOS. The balance of the voltage aren't bad and can be run 24/7. I have been also able to hit 424x9. However that one needs some more work. P-95 ran 12 hours on 3 cores, but failed after 9 hours on core #2.I need to get back to work on that one.
I have also been trying for the holy grail of 4G. I can boot to it, run 3DMark 2001, pass WPrime 1024 run and play some COD4 single player. But the minute I try P-95 or ITB, it reboots. The voltages are really starting to get toasty as well! I need about 1.63V to boot into windows.
I have been posting my escapades here because I didn't realize this thread was still alive.
I have a few questions:
- what is max VTT for this cpu. Intel states no higher than 1.45 for a 45nm. What about the 65nm?
- how much is too much PLL voltage?
Thanks.

I need to get back to work on that one.
