With NF we had to try 4-5 different modded bios to see what goes better with your system.
And it's supposed that ACC helps OC.How is this helping, if I MUST use +4% only or else I can't even boot. This is not so much of help, if only a particular option works and you can't try different things.

You can't tell that a mobo kicks ass, when no matter if you use 1,45 or 1,65, you see no differences..
I guess it could be different things. I love this mobo, Just my opinion.

    One question,

CPU voltage for CPU frequency, NB voltage for NB frequency, HT voltage for HT frequency... what about bus speed? What do i have to raise? i can't get stable with 260htt, even with cpu,nb and htt low dividers. I've tried the core\pcie with no result. Do i have to raise NB voltage even if i have for example only 1400 nb frequency?

    drop the north bridge multiplier

2600mhz is max for NB speed.

oh your right it's 1400mhz ( didn't even see you said it)

it needs Volts did you try the CPU-NB volts ?

    not just the nb volts....

there two of them one in CPU one on the board.

    Info on Bios 0504 :

    1. Can't post at 1066 ram.
    2. At 3.2(stable o/c previously) bsoded in prime within 5 secs.
    3. After that couldn't pass welcome screen(bsod)

Last thing tried Cpu Prefetcher= DISABLED!
Seems to be working, now priming at 3.2 cpu, if nb is up to 2.4 and ram to 1066 like in 0403 i will keep it.

If you mean C1E, it is a power state. Enhanced Halt State.

"C1 (often known as Halt) is a state where the processor is not executing instructions, but can return to an executing state essentially instantaneously. Some processors, such as the Pentium 4, also support an Enhanced C1 state (C1E) for lower power consumption. "

Justapost and KTE have already tested it: http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/sh...3081#post53081

I don't know anything about this CPU prefetching option.

I think the AGESA contains the AMD CPUs CPUID opcodes as well.
I'm wondering if AGESA includes core AMD based ACC code as well. AGESA seems to be the core BIOS code that AMD sends to the mobo makers, and then the mobo dudes shape their own BIOS around AGESA. I believe that to be the case, but could be wrong.

Did a quick search in the BKDG and i think you can enabled/disable dram prefetch training with that flag.

Have any of you folks flashed the "0504" bios yet, and is it worth it?

I just got it today, and the "0403" seems to work pretty well so far.

Just curious if there are any benefits to the new version....

BTW, so far I'm pretty impressed with this board.

daveburt, I flashed to the 0504 bios, so far so good, not one problem. Flawless so far.

Duploxxx, I dont know about your comment dude, ACC works great. My 9850 was stable up to about 3.3 GHz, with ACC it did 3.6 GHz @ 1.456v.

My 9950 goes good up to about 3.1 GHz, with ACC I can do 3.45 Ghz. in my case, it works like a charm.

I flashed it at the first day it came out.
I works fine.It has some new options, but nothing that really makes a big difference.

The VDDA voltage doesn't help me at all. I use XP 32bit.

I heard it should be kept at 2.6v????

I will try it at 2.7 see if I can stable out my clock at a higher clock. Thanks for the info.
