    DEAL

    for now..

Edit: hope you guys have less gpu issues btw then me, after two clean days I just got 2 consequitive 3 in a row eue's

Think PG can't keep up with the wu's, you're chewing through them to fast so the one's I'm getting are already chewed up and give these darn mdrun errors.

That would not be good since currently the FAH gpu2 client is limited to 6 per computer which each 9800gx2 requires 2 clients so 4 9800gx2 in one machine would require 8 clients which would be more than the 6 that FAH supports per computer.

WFO has been caught cheating, he is running oversize slicks and a extra nitrous kit plumbed under the intake and lower gear ratio than the rules allow plus oversize intake valves. He must forfeit 1 week points to Tango team...

Ummm... I'm still on my warm up lap. The race hasn't started yet and I haven't even been through final tech inspection. I couldn't have been caught cheating.

I did get my main rig up. I'm still working on the shader clocks. 10K of the points are going to my original team unless I'm pushed here. I still need to hit 10,000,000,

I know you have not been through the final tech yet, it was some guy walking around the pits that spotted it and reported it. Nice production...

Okay I've heard that several times now, did anyone actually try getting 4 of them to work? Any link to where that fact is written down/so tried it and failed?

    From reading this I understand that there are 8 GPUs/system possible, i.e. 4 98oogx2..

don't worry wfo.. your inspection has been given the nod, since the inspector owes me a favor.. I shaved some points off his nephew's trial lap, and got him a pole position time a couple races ago... just head over to the race officials area and ask for Charlie, tell him Mike sent you.. he already has your number plates and stickers ready to go, no need to go through inspection.

oh, btw.. the officials are thinking about reducing Dak's race class from full blown nitrous to FULL BLOWN ALCOHOL for obvious reasons.

Tigerbitten on the team that shall not be named is the only one I've seen posting that has 4 9800 GX2s on the same mobo. As previously reported he used a Xigmatek 1500w psu as they are the only ones making a psu with the proper 4 x 8 pin and 4 x 6 pin connectors. These won't be available in the states till after the first. ( I tried to get one.) I'm not sure about the F@H limitations. If there is one, all you would have to do is have 2 F@H folders and make shortcuts off each executable. If you PM tigerbitten, he will give you the details you need. He posts of the F@H forums.

    Thanks Mike! Much appreciated.

Edit: Nice Dak! Dang, this team has some heavy hitters on it. I suspect we'll hit over 800K ppd during the race.

Bleep! Bleep! Bleep! The stats are on the fritz. How are we supposed to run a race without stats??? The 18:00 update just completed at EOC and our team got 0 points. Impossible! Anyone with juice PM VJ. This is an emergency!
