Feser UV green fluid clogs up after 2 months?

ZZZzz.. i thought fesser was a good coolant.. I just built another computer and used the same cpu block from my previous setup. I drained the fluid and everything looked fine until i looked inside the cpu block and noticed a bunch of gunk in there. I put some water in there and squished it around and a bunch of "rock" type stuff came out

what type of coolant should i use in this new setup? Im using PC-ICE right now with a UV Blue die bomb and some corrosion inhibitor that came with my fesser quad radiator.

I had a bad experience with PC Ice myself that ended up with everything in my loop full of blue gunk, I'm using distilled water with 10% antifreeze now with no complaints.

I hear more & more that the dye bombs are the culprit but seeing as I haven't experienced it myself who knows? I plan to us just the Feser One Fluid UV CLEAR/BLUE NON-CONDUCTIVE Water Replacement myself to try out & see how that goes in my loops.

I'll be going with the Pre-Mixed Feser stuff soon, usually people don't complain about it .

Pictures? How did you clean every component prior to installation. If your loop has any gunk in it before you run it the coolant is just going to gather it and it will collect in any restrictive area. Cpu blocks are usually just big strainers and the most likely place for gunk to form. There are a lot of variables to consider. Can you provide us with anymore information other than there is gunk?

    Im going to be simple
Feser Blue UV coolant with nothing else on a full copper loop. No additives or extras just the coolant. Hopefully maintenance will be once a year.

well I used my black feser for 1 year and switched to red uv feser 3 months ago.
had no problems with worser getting temps etc and the blocks look like brand new.
using only full copper blocks, black tygon/red feser tubes.

Im sorry i dont have any pictures because that was a very busy day at the office. I was pretty upset when i saw that in there. I also noticed a lot of white gunk inside my reservoir.
The cpu block wasnt bad but it did have green goo and little rocky type pellets in it. Im just a little worried that this has happened in less then 2 months.
PCI-ICE seems to be good... it was all clear and i just added a small UV Blue bomb.

Haven't had a problem with Feser One UV blue for the past 6 months. Prior to that, I was using Primochill Azul blue and it gunked up my blocks within 3 months. I made sure to boil with distilled water/vinegar mix to clean all the blocks, and replaced my hose when switching brands of coolants. A lot of people will flush their gear out without taking into consideration the staining of the tubing. Were are your parts new prior to adding the Feser One, or did you purchase any of your parts used?

nope.. all brand new. Fesser tubes and coolant. The tubes also have this thin white film on the inside... i stuck a paper towel on a stick and wiped it out lol.

Did you clean out your radiators before installation? My Thermochills had a bunch of white junk in them initially. Once thoroughly clean though I didn't have any issues. After a few builds I've learned at least one thing. The only way you know everything is clean is to clean each part individually and ensuring it's all pristine.

Just to be clear, its the dye additive and not Feser One? I think the OP was commenting on the coolant.

Fuzion V2 has barely any restriction, so it sounds strange that the CPU block could possible be the cause. Something in my gut says check the rads. Also, PC-ICE is not good, it has been known to cause far more corrosion problems than your Feser variety, and it does not offer any better performance than water. To my understanding the Feser One at least improves temperatures by 1-2 degrees.

If the tubes have any PVC in it, it's pretty natural for the tubing to lose it's clearness, and turn a milky translucent color, but if it has white film in it, you definitely have a problem on your hands. This may be a lot of work, but the only way to sure fire fix the problem would be to disassemble the loop, flush out each individual part, and use new tubing and coolant, unless you clean the tubing to perfect condition. The coolant definitely has to go though. I would use distilled directly after cleaning the loop as well as clear tubing. This set-up does not have to be permanent, but just so that if there is another issue, you should be able to spot it quickly by a color change. If, after a few months, the loop is clear and free of corrosion, you should have the leway to use a different kind of coolant.

Sorry to hear that it gummed / mucked up on ya!

I actually am using 2 different Fesser One Colors (Acid and Normal Green) and I am happy to report after 6 months I have no issues! I am using both colors on two seperate systems with XSPC Res Tops and dont even have any staining at all in the Res or going through the system.... looks to be A"ok"

What rad? There is a "goo thread" going in this forum that is pointing to TC PA rads causing the white stuff. If you had the white stuff going through there it could've reacted with the coolant. Since so many have reported good success with Feser Coolant, I'd be looking at those other possible causes.

I too suspect the rad. What did you clean the rad with before use? If it's a PA rad they are very hard to get clean. People have stated they darn near went mad trying to get them clean. Some worked for days only to still have stuff showing when they were flushing. Others thought they had them clean only to run the loop and find trash in the water within hours to days of getting them up and running. It seems very common to those rads.

NOTHING on the market can outperform pure 100% distilled water.

Agreed. Consider that even the Feser One fluid is still distilled water based with additives.
