Currently burning in my new Q828A434 VID is 1.25

Does 8 x 500 with 1.215 volts under load (didn't try lower yet), PLL 1.54 and FSB term at 1.18 once it passes 8 hours I'll post a screenshot otherwise not worth it ofcourse

OCCT 2hour test done on a P5Q Dlx with LLC off

    Keep you posted
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

did you guys notice the E0's have a higher thermal limit? Looks like more room for oc'ing and higher temps.

OK Hey guys so after messing around here is what i got:

So at 442x9.5 = 4.2Ghz my stable settings:
    CPU:1.376V
    NB/SB Voltage: 1.200V
    DDR2: 2.096V
    FSB: 1.200
    CPU PLL Voltage 1.6V

But I tried doing 453x9.5 (4.3Ghz) and orthos fails me in first seconds, pc reboots, really unstable:

    Now my question is:
what Can I do to make it stable at 4.3Ghz WITHOUT increasing the vcore because it goes above 1.4V?
Maybe increase the other voltages? Memory settings? etc
Also what are the max safe ranges for the other voltages on the mobo?
    BTW Mobo is tpower I45
Edit I turned the vcore one more notch up (1.425) and it was still unstable at 4.3Ghz... I hope I didn't reach the limit

misho my C0 8400 maxed out @4.2 also... its a good overclock. Better than being stuck @4ghz with the same voltage like some others.

^^^ So what do you think is limiting me here? What should I try increasing (other than vcore) and to what safe levels

Finally put my new system together today and i'm pretty shocked lol. As some of you might have read my Sunbeam CCF didn't fit on the EP45-UD3P so I'm using a stock Intel cooler at the moment, the ones Intel shipped with the 65nm Conroes which are like 3 times beefier than the new 45nm coolers Intel ships with their chips.

Anyway, decided to see what I could achieve on the stock cooler and wow, pretty amazed haha. Not done yet!!

    Try bumping up your northbridge.

On my asus p5k vanilla it tkaes 1.4v for 4.2ghz on an old C0 e8400.
On my DS3L it takes more than 1.2v also - 1.3v I think but can't remember.

Anyways try 1.4v and then see if you can drop it from there to 1.3 or 1.25v.

OK will try that right now. I also ran memtest86 and it passes all tests just for heads up...

    **EDIT**
OK so I bumped up the NB voltage to 1.376V (this was in the red settings now-kinda got scared) and same problems happen. orthos fails etc, and now i am getting VPU recovery sometimes too. (so i think 2 much voltage for the bridges)..
    wwhat can I do now...

after a lot of reading ppl say under 1.4V is safe. So like 1.38 and lower is good. That is what I currently have but trying to get past 4.2Ghz without increasing the cpu vcore.
    you got any ideas lol?
