Playing with 8GB RAM

Is the phenom able to treat 2 2x2gb sets as if they were all connected since it has a built in memory controller?

Decided to ask here because so far your the only one I've heard of to use 8gb with a phenom.

no, it can't do that.

only server chipsets can do that, but even opterons can't.

BTW@ea6gka: why the f do you need 8GB? ^^ i can't think of any reason but heavy virtualization or rendering.
