Not with my board, and others have had exactly the same behaviour as me. Yours may behave differently, but that does not make what myself and others have found to be true BS, so please avoid making sweeping general statements like that.

As the vFSB gets higher, the allowable gap between vFSB & vNB increases, but not more than 0.15v - for example if I set 1.25 vFSB, I can run 1.4 vNB, but any higher it will hang on reboot with cleared cmos. When I run 1.10 - 1.2 vFSB, the limit of the gap is 0.11v, as I posted previously.
