G.SKILL F2-9600CL5D-4GBPI Sample testing

I tried running 4=1gb sticks on my board it wouldnt even post. Dont know why, but 2=2gb works great. I would like to know if i can take the 4+1gb route.

what is your board
btw not many boards gonna do 1200 4x1
so far only dfi x38-x48 is a 4x1 and 2x2clocking monster

I have the gigabyte ep45-ds3r. Yeah 2+2gb is the way to go. Im thinking of going with the ocz flex2 9200 and overclocking them to 1200 or a little above that should work its a 4gb kit, talked with ocz said they will run on my board.

i doubt you gonna hit 1200 with the ocz gl

i took out my x38 for a quick memtest run
sticks are crazy full pass @ 1300mhz with 2.1v
memtest bandwidth was 7100mbs

i only did 2 passes 1 @ low fsb 1 @ high fsb 1300mhz

soon i gonna run my x38 these sticks love x38
