I want to know if any of you have had several motherboards with Nvidia chipsets if you can say which ones you found worked the best.
I'd prefer no on-board video.

Which video card? Well, I have an HD 4670 and I ordered an 8800GS because I think the HD 3000 series and HD 4000 series (not the X1000 series and not the Nvidia cards) have some tiny issues with the 780G chipset (my Asus M3A78-EM anyway).
I'll likely be using the 8800GS because it's the same performance in UT3 and I read in the AVSforum that someone could not tell the difference between the 9600GT and the HD 4670 in Blu-Ray or HD DVD movies. I mean I also ordered a Thermalright HR-03 GT for it and I already received a Nexus 92mm fan to put on it. (Those silent black and white or orange Nexus fans are amazing. I just tested several brands on a fan controller today. BTW, the transparent Nexus fans push HELLA LOT of air but they make more noise.)
I read here:

that some people like the GIGABYTE GA-M750SLI-DS4.
Any user comments for this one?
I would say the NF590SLI, had nothing but great experiences with it when I had my Crosshair. Prior to that my experiences with nforce chipsets were horrible, most notably the NF4 chipset, I've heard the 680 and 780 chipsets have issues as well. How nVidia can make a stonkingly good chipset like the NF590 then fark it all up in newer chipsets is nothing short of blundering stupidity IMO.
