yah i was looking at the load time graphs, but even here with tri-channel (with and without smt) in cod4 performance is sub-par when compared to penryn :
The point is, where is the reason behind building a $1500 i7 system vs. a $500 core2 system if you're a gamer? $1000 in video cards will make a bigger difference, and you will end up paying the same price in the end to have a 5x faster PC.
